Welcome to Avonmore Elementary School!
I am thrilled to extend a warm welcome to all students, families, and community members to Avonmore Elementary. Our school proudly serves students from North and South Stormont and North Glengarry, and we are excited to embark on this educational journey together.
At Avonmore Elementary, we are dedicated to creating a nurturing and dynamic environment for our students. Our talented staff works tirelessly to provide an exceptional learning experience, blending rigorous academics with diverse opportunities beyond the classroom. From a variety of sports and clubs to enriching extracurricular activities, we strive to foster each student’s unique interests and passions.
We are incredibly fortunate to have a vibrant community of volunteers whose enthusiasm and support enhance our school in countless ways. Whether it's organizing events, preparing our annual Christmas Turkey lunch, or fundraising, their dedication makes a significant impact on our students’ experiences.
Our strong partnerships with local organizations further enrich our programming. We are grateful for the support of the SD&G library, the Roxborough Agricultural Society, the Dairy Educator, and the Ontario Provincial Police, all of whom contribute to our students’ learning and growth.
As your new principal, and with the support of Vice-Principal Emily Begg, I am eager to collaborate with you in supporting your child’s educational journey. Together, we will create a memorable and successful school year filled with discovery, growth, and joy.
